Incirlik Air Base in Incirlik, Turkey

Incirlik Air Post is a large US military base with a strategic location. Because the facility is in Turkey, it is operated jointly by the US and the Turkish governments. The construction of the building began in 1951. Throughout history, the base has played a significant role. Because of its proximity to Russia, it was a crucial location for the US administration. At the same time, the location proved suitable for dealing with Middle East crises in nations such as Israel and Lebanon. The United States government does not consider Turkey to be a secure country, owing to its huge Muslim population. Because there are 750 homes in the area, there is a finite amount of space. The majority of soldiers are automatically hosted, with no need for applications or anything. The purpose of these bases, according to the hegemony cycles, would be to propagate its liberal ideals, and as a true hegemonic state have an impact in the politics and economy of the region. Because of the power gained by the United States through world market control of investment, both economic and political, having military power in other territories would complement the hegemonic cycle. This with the purpose of reconstructing the hegemony in case of world wars.
